Meet the Teachers

Hi, my name is Amber Welch, and I am very excited to join Canyon Hills as Director.

I have been in child care for the past 20 years, first working in the classrooms and then getting promoted to Assistant Director in 2005 followed by Director in 2019.

I have worked in the same preschool for the past 16 years and am truly blessed with the knowledge I gained. God has been placing it on my heart to work more closely with a church-based center, so I’m overjoyed that he led me here.

I have one daughter who started high school this year who keeps me very busy with her various activities. We love attending church together and getting involved in small groups. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you and can’t wait to see what God has in store for this center.
